Ideas for Teachers

Thank you for exploring Authentic Voices!

If you are reading our work for the first time, be sure to read and listen to some of our work. Each page has a small play button at the top of the page. By clicking this, you'll be able to hear the student reading his/her work. Some pages also have a post in the Discussion Board where students share a bit about why they wrote the piece and any revisions or changes the work went through.

If you have joined our wiki, please leave a post for our students in the Discussion area for each particular piece of writing that moves you. Take a moment to check out our Wiki Guidelines for ideas about how to respond to the students' work.

If you are ready to have your students contribute to this wiki. Here are some sample permission forms that teachers have used before asking students to publish their work. Consider using something similar with your students. If you have your own permission letter you'd like to share, please add it here!
